This week I am sharing this fabulous image from Sweetpea stamps with you.  Teresa Sherman's Steampunk Sally - Sheet 4, Plate 212 available here.

Gothic/steam punk images aren't usually my thing as I'm not a lover of Dark images,  I find them difficult to do favouring cute - but I have to say I was expectantly drawn to this plate.

After colouring this stamp I thought it looked too clean for steam punk so decided to have a go at PUNKING IT UP - I had sprayed the image with a shine varnish so it was difficult to get the distressing inks to work.  I actually liked the finish result and was glad that the varnish had stopped the distressing inks from penetrating and saturating the image too much.

Well this is virtually my first post since updating my blog and a half written post waiting to be published.

What a nightmare decided to up-date blog by moving some of the side bar items to the pages tab.  All well and dandy then I don't know what happened but the whole of my home page has lines throughout the whole blog.  What a mess!

As I use Artisteer now after starting with blogger I have to export changes to blogger.  Artisteer doesn't keep widgets as they have been created in blogger.  Hence everytime I update I have to physically move each and every one to the correct order as I would have days of the week running through Followers etc etc.

Blow me after all these changes and putting things right it happens again!  This time I think to myself in for a pound in for a penny!  So I've updated my header too with a recent project.  Made it almost worthwhile having to fiddle with the widget listings!

Today because my C Drive is practically full less than 2 mbs free I have been transferring what I could to the D Drive.  Unfortunately it didn't make much difference to freeing up some space so not to be beat I started moving some programmes.

Two hours later but I've cracked it - moved programmes and contents - took a fair bit of faffing but all done now and I have freed up a massive 10.7 mbs - whoopy doup! - and out of the RED!!  Wish I could say the same about my bank balance!

Now on to my card

I just love this new stamp from Crafts and Me,  the artist Zindy S.D. Nielsen.

This one is called

Love Life

Medium:   Copics, diamond glaze on heart
Papers:     Papermania B&W collection, Black Card
Dies used:   Whimsy Sentiment and flower dies , Cheery Lyn flourish dies
Stamps:    Love Life and Whimsy Sentiment stamps

Have you seen the D'Arcy's Diaries digi's?

This is my first card using the fabulous D'Arcy's Diaries range of images from Teddy Bo.  I love all the new D'Arcy stamps (Gayle Cook 2012) and am building up my collection.   This one is called MUMMY'S LITTLE HELPER and the first digi stamp I chose to buy.

I coloured this image maybe a fortnight ago and decided to make a card last night.  A little unsure whether I've overdone the embellishments etc!  I do like the muted tones though!

Stamps:   Digi - D'ARCY'S DIARIES
Whimsy Postage stamps - Mini and Large

Medium:   Copics, Prisma and Polychromo pencils, Glitter pens, black pen
Papers:    My Mind's Eye Value pack, Black cardstock
Dies used:   Marianne flourishes and spiral flower, Magnolia flowers, Tim Holtz border die, frame die from CraftsULove, Whimsy Postage dies Mini and Large
Embellishments:  Brads, Pearls, Bow

Apologies, I forgot to add where the SANTA image was from on my Whiskers card at Ooh La La Challenge - so for those of you who have asked - It was one of Ooh La La's own CD's - Christmas Presence.

I have to add there are some fabulous images on this CD - why not take a look at their Gallery and see what other images are on this CD.

Have fun
