FAIRY TOON

Today I have coloured another digi stamp from Stitchy stamps by Barbara Jensen called FAIRY TOON.

I hope Barbara's not affended as I've changed the design slightly by using a copic fine liner pen to create some clothes.

Not sure if the hair is too dark - maybe should have gone lighter!

Techniques:
Medium:
Copics
Prisma and polychromos pencils
gouache
gold sukura pen
spica glitter pen

Papers:
Pattern - new fairyopolis papers and plain (Crafters Companion)
Digi - polka dot - Jak Heath

Dies used:
Cuttlebug leaf
Cuttlebug corner
Marianne swirls and flourishes
Spellbinders - deckle edge
Embellishments:
Ribbon
Pearls
Broken necklace

Best wishes,

PAPER PLAY CHALLENGE - Distressing

This week's challenge at Paperplay is DISTRESSING!

I have chosen to distress the edges for this challenge.  Luckily as I was running late this week I came across this image by Mo Manning coloured and mounted on embossed backing.  I had obviously started to use before for a challenge and changed my mind!  I love this when you've disguarded something for whatever reason and find again, this time it just works!

Techniques:
Medium:
Copics

Papers:
Patterned - paper stacks
Plain - Crafters Companion

Embossing folders
Cuttlebug embossing folder
Embellishments:
Ribbon
Charm and silver beading
Tiny gems
