Welcome to our first ever Digital Tuesday blog hop! We are celebrating our 100th challenge this week with a special "CELEBRATIONS" challenge and lots of prizes.

If you have came here from SANDY'S blog, you are on the right track, but if not you will want to start at the beginning of the hop at LORA'S blog

Each DT member is featuring one of our fab sponsors with a prize from that sponsor. To win these prizes, all you have to do is leave a comment on each of the design team members blogs.

There is also a big prize on the challenge blog which in order to win you must enter the challenge as you normaly would (remember you can use any digital element, it doesn't have to be a digital image) and then collect all the "special" letters from the DT blogs and follow the instructions on the Digital Tuesday challenge blog when you reach the end of the hop.

My sponsor is Dewdrop Craftz  and they are very generously offering 2 digi's - winner's choice.

My choice of digi stamp from Dew Drop Craftz is called Toyko girl and I really enjoyed colouring her.  Dont forget to check out their other digi's!

Card One

I am delighted to be able to work with these wonderful stamps this month as a Guest Designer.  I have used the same stamp in two different ways to show the versatility of these stamps.

For this one I have used  rich colours and have chosen design papers that compliment the colours of the image.

Also I have used  different techniques on this sample and my second sample.

I have used a Spellbinders die to cut and emboss the image and then distressed with black ink.
I also used some small dies to create these flowers.

Copics and Prisma pencils
Distressing Ink
Spray Glitter

Pattern papers (Quixotic Paperie)
Plain (Crafters Companion)

Leaf punches x 2
Dies used:

Marianne dies - flourishes, flowers and butterfly

Bazzill Jewel - for creating the gem flourishes

Black crystal gems

Card 2
As you can see this sample is very different from the first sample.  On this one I have used a softer pastel colours with a red as an accent colour.
The style of the card is clean and simple - straight lines and clean cut style.  The only equipment used for this sample was a guillotine.
I have added more embellishments to this card which gives balance to the design.
Copics and Prisma pencils
Paper flowers  (Wildorchid)
Metal charm  (Quixotic Paperie)
Faux brads (QVC)

Thank you to Bildmalarnas for this chance to join their team as a Guest Designer.  I hope I have managed to inspire and express how much I enjoy working with these stamps!
Best wishes,

Like a lot of crafters out there, I was waiting for the new release of Simply Adorable and I've got to say this one is my absolute favourite.

It didn't matter how tired I felt I just had to push through it!

I decided to go for Monochrome plus one other colour and since the colouring of the image is quite dramatic I went quite simply with just the black and white backing papers.

I will just add that I did dry emboss a square frame but unfortunately most of it has been lost under the other embellishments.

Copics, Prisma (added to face) and Polychromos (hair and shading)
Gouache - highlights
Fine liner pen - borders
Black soot distressing ink for leaves
Glitter spray and varnish (Crafters Companion)

Co-ordinates black texture and Neenah cardstock (white) (Crafters Companion)

Mandella board - dry embossing

Dies used:

Cuttlebug - leaf
Magnolia - doily flowers and flourish
Marianne - decorative corner
