Challenge this week is Men's cards.

For this challenge I used a stamp I had coloured some time ago with copics but had never used.  Not being very well and leaving until the last minute - it made sense to use it.
I used cardstock from Crafters Companion and the matching papers for the stamp (CD digital papers).

Being a male card I didn't want to make it too fussy so I added faux brads and a couple of gems.

Luckily for me this was a quick and easy card so I could go back to being ill quite quickly!!!

Hope you like and please don't forget to check out the other DT's fabulous work.

Best wishes,

Challenge #94 Tropical Warmth by Michelle R. (sponsor: robyn's fetish)

For this challenge I chose to use one of the new stamps from Sugar Nellies called "FAITH" from the Adorable - Home Grown range.   I chose this image to fit this week's challenge of "Tropical Warmth" because the girl's outfit reminded me of a sailor type dress worn in the Victorian times.

I coloured with copics and polychromos pencils.  I highlighted the pupils, hat and dress details with white gouache - which added texture too.

The cardstock was from Crafters Companion and the digi papers were from Jak Heath freebies - and she has numerous fabulous decorative papers to choose from.

To complete and also highlight the theme I added some gems (palm trees, whale in the sea and sail boat) and some matching small flat back pearls.
