GRACE

This is my second card of the day and is another of the lovely new digi stamps from Sugar Nellies, this one is called "GRACE".

I coloured this image with copics and polychromos pencils, edging the aperature with a copics marker.

The sketch is from this week's Sugar Bowl challenge and the backing papers were from Crafters Companion (plain) and Jak Heath digi free papers.

I used Nesties to cut the backing frame and two aperatures under the flowers.

Embellishments:  Flowers, pearls, ribbon and bow.

VERITY

Loved these digi stamps so much decided to make a couple more today.  This is my first post which features "VERITY standing up" and if you to like these digis they are available from Sugar Nellies.

The sketch I've used is from the Sugar Bowl challenge and the backing papers are from Quitoxic Paperie, and digi paper - polka dot (Jak Heath freebies).

I used copics and polychromos pencils to colour this image.  And after cutting aperture I edges the oval with a copics pen.

The embellishments were pearl flourishes, ribbon and small and large pearls.

Hope you like this image and card.  Best wishes,

OSAAT CHALLENGE #45

This week's challenge is "New Beginnings" - New baby, new stash etc and this week's spotlight is on Floppe Latte.  Please check out gorgeous papers and images.

For this project I have used a digi stamp from the Stitchy Bear and I did it Creations Crafting Boutique.  The image is one of the Barbara Jensen range of stamps called "Up Yours" which I thought would work well as New beginnings.

I coloured this image with copics and polychromos by Faber Castell which I received today so this is my first time of using them - no time to practice.  I have been so sluggish and tired over Christmas I've just not wanted to do anything! - hence I'm playing catch up with the DT posts.

The backing papers were a mixture of allsorts, the main pattern background was from a CD Rom, the Acetate flourish/flower background was from a set I bought from QVC and the plain paperstock I used to create the mats was from a multi buy from Create and Craft.

I cut some flourishes (from some black stock my Husband got me from WHSmiths),  using  Magnolia and Marianne dies which I thought would pick out the flourishes from the Acetate.  I used Marianne dies to cut the flowers taking inspirations again from the Acetate.

The leaves were cut from a hand punch and I used a gold pen to create the veins in the leaves again to reflect the leaves on the Acetate.

Finally a few pearls were added for the finishing touches.
