CCC CHALLENGE #NEW BEGINNINGS

For this project I chose to use a Magnolia Tilda image (Bridesmaid Tilda) to reflect New Beginnings and what better than a Wedding a life-time committment.

I coloured with copics and then emphasised shadows and definition with my new prisma pencils which I am still experimenting with.  Hopefully I will get to grips with them more when a book I ordered arrives - guess you know what I will be doing and hopefully reaping the results too.

I used a spray varnish and a white smooch spritz ink over the image to give a subtle sparkle.

I did some paper piercing around the image and then mounted using plain black and silver cardstock.

I embellished with a heart cut from a Spellbinders die, ribbon, bow, brad, flowers pearls and pins.

Challenge #anything goes http://sewmanychallenges.blogspot.com/

For this project I used copics and prisma pencils to colour this image.  I used a gel pen to create the border around the image.

I used a white pearl smooch spritz ink sprayed lightly over the image to create the added sparkle.

The backing papers were from my stash (black and silver cardstock) and the patterned papers were from For Ever Friends CD Rom.

The following dies were used:

Magnolia Doily flower die
Marianne flourish dies

Ribbon, bow, brad, gems were added to complete embellishments.
