NEW SUGAR NELLIES

Sneaky peek of my images for the next two DT posts.  I love these images (these heads are the rubber stamp version)

I've spent hours trying to experiment with my camera to find out what settings give the best results and unfortunately I still havent found one that captures a true likeness although these two are fairly close.

I hadnt realised that these images came in digital format and that they also have the full body versions of each of these four stamps.  So when I discovered this I just had to try them.

This is my first attempt as using the full version and I think because I sprayed with varnish it has affected the clarity of the image.

I used copics and polychromos pencils to colour this image and edged with a fine black liner.

I used a Marianne die to cut the circle, using the sketch from Sugar Bowl for inspiration.

The embellishments were faux brads, flowers and gems.
