Christmas in July

Challenge # Sketch Fridaysketchers
Challenge ~Just add material (ribbon) Justaddink
Challenge #Christmas in August Totallygorjuss

For this project I chose another Whoopsidaisy image and coloured with copics, added ice stickles to the collar and cuffs.

The sketch was from Fridaysketchers and the papers were all Crafters Companions.

The embellishments were flowers from Wildorchid and ribbon and pearls from my stash.

Challenge #Anything Goes   Stampinfortheweekend
Challenge # Happy Birthday Sewmanychallenges
Challenge #Lets keep it simple Totallypapercrafts
Challenge #Sketch CreativeFriday

For this project I decided to use a Mo Manning digital stamp I have been waiting to use for a while and coloured with copic pens.

I used a fine black liner to create the stitch effect.  The border was cut with a Martha Stewart border punch.
The papers were from Crafters Companion and one of Joanna Sheen's CD Roms.  The sketch used was from Creative Friday.  I kept the card quite clean and simple adding only a couple pearl gems as embellishments.

Challenge #25 Back to School Simpledoodles
Challenge # Back to School Stampchallenges
For this project I chose a Whoopidaisy digi stamp and coloured with copics and gel pens as below.  The theme was Back to School - this was my take on a teenager preferring to shop rather than return to school.  The sketch was from Paperplay.

I used a Nestibilities die to cut the oval shape and distressed the edges with a silver brilliance ink pad.
The papers were all from Crafters Companion.  I used a Martha Stewart border punch to cut the border edge and used pink embroidery thread to create the ribbon effect.
The embellishments were flowers from Wildorchid and pearl gems.

For this project I chose a Whoopsidaisy digital stamp and coloured it with the following copic pens.

I used a Martha Stewart corner punch to cut the edges of the image and a corner rounder punch to cut the mat.

The papers were from Crafters Companion and Belles Ballet CD Rom.  The decorative border was cut with a Martha Stewart border punch and embossed using a Cuttlebug folder.

I embellished with flowers, beads, ribbon (stitching on ribbon) and pearl gems.
