Swing

Challenge #31 Sketch   http://thepixiecottage.blogspot.com/

For this project I used a Lili of the Valley stamp and coloured with copic pens.  I distressed the edges with a blue distressing ink pad and mixed it with a silver brilliant ink pad.

I used a Nestibilities die for the main image topper and a Tim Holtz die for the fancy edge cuts.

The sketch was from The Pixie Cottage.

The whole thing was finished off with some embellishments - ribbon, flowers, brads and pearls.

Lili

Challenge #60 Four Seasons http://liliofthevalleythursdaychallenge.blogspot.com/  SPRING

For this project I used a Lili of the Valley Fairy stamp and coloured her with copic pens.

The backing papers were from Belles Ballet and Crafters Companion SWALK CD Roms.  I used a Nestibilities die to cut the image topper and also cut a circular frame (using two of the circular dies) and then embossed it with a cuttlebug folder.  The flourishes were cut using a Sizzits die.

I embellished with flowers, gems, pearls, button and ribbon lace.

Mirror Mirror

For this project I used a Lili of the Valley stamp and coloured it with copic pens.  I used the sketch from A gem of a Challenge.

The backing papers were from Belles Ballet CD Rom and Crafters Companion.  I distressed the edges with a paper distressing tool.  I used a cuttlebug folder to emboss the centre mat.  I used a Nestibilities die to cut the image and then used two together to create the frame (same shape as topper).  I threaded embroidery thread around the frame and secured.  The flourishes were created using a Marianne die.

The card was embellished with a flower, brad, ribbon and pearls.
