Keeping COOL

Challenge # 92 Summer Fun
Challenge #Sketch
Challenge # Sweet sweet summertime

For this project I used the sketch from Create4fun.  The image is a Mo Manning digital pencil stamp and an ideal chose for summer time.

The image was coloured using copic pens and the good old fine liner was used for faux stitching effect.  The papers were a mixture of ones I had in my stash from other projects.  And with the finishing touch of a ribbon and bow the project was complete.

Winter Wonderland

Challenge # Whateva
Challenge # Sketch
Challenge #34 Sketch
Challenge #Sing Song  winter wonderland

For this project I used two sketches that were very similar sweetsketchwednesday and sundaysketch as below

The theme of this card is Winter Wonderland (song).

The stamp I chose to use was drawn by the artist Christine Haworth - she does the poppets and fairy collections of which I have a number.  The image coloured using copics and I used a silver glitter pen to colour the stems the little fairy is holding and her crown.  I used stickles to enchance the snow and wings of the fairy.  I used a silver caligraphy pen to edge the border of the image.

The papers were from a Create and Craft CD Rom Luxury Christmas papers.  I used Angelina fibres behind the image topper and added the snowflakes which were cut from  Marianne dies.  I used the ribbon to create the faux stripped effect as on the sketches.
