Beach Babe

Challenge #56 Sketch   http://movingalongwiththetimes.blogspot.com/

For this project I used a Whiff of Joy stamp from the Beach Set #3.  I coloured the image with copics and the backing papers were from Joanna Sheen's CD Rom and Crafters Companion.

The sketch design used

I used a Cuttlebug folder to emboss frame and embellished with flowers, pearl bead ribbon, 2 fabric ribbons and some pink gems.  The middle of the flowers were given a little definition with some stickles glue.

Best Wishes, Sharon

Challenge #17 Anything I mean anything goes  http://digidoodleshopsbest.blogspot.com/
Challenge #40 sketch   http://sketchandstashchallenge.blogspot.com/
Challenge #63  sketch  http://priscillastyles.blogspot.com/

For this project I chose a Whiff of Joy stamp from their beach set #3 again another image drawn by Elizabeth Bell.  I've been looking forward to receiving this stamp plate so that I could use the images - maybe a few beach theme cards coming up.

Apologies for not waiting for glue to dry when sticking the ribbon bow to card - but in a hurry to post.

The sketch used for this challenge is

The image was coloured with copics and the backing papers were all from the Crafter's Companion range of products (SWALK CD Rom).  I cut the main image with a jaunty angle to the bottom edge to create a different look then embellished with fabric and pearl ribbons and a brad.

I like the limited colours of blue and brown which always work well together with a pop of pink.

Thanks for looking, Sharon

Challenge #37 Sketch   http://trulyscrumptiouschallenges.blogspot.com/

For this project I used the sketch below.

The stamp was another Sugar Nellies called "Ice Cream Summer" I coloured the image using the mint and chocolate colour theme and I incorporated some check papers to meet the Check it out challenge.

I used a Nestibilities die to cut the main image and border frame.  The card was finished off with a ribbon, brad, a couple of gems and flower.
