Challenge #112 Sketch Saturday

Challenge #4 Craftalicious

Challenge #61 Summer days
http://allsortschallenge.blogspot.com/

For this challenge I chose a Whiff of Joy image called "Melinda blowing kisses" by Elizabeth Bell.  I used copics to colour the image, I added a few coloured embellishments with some glaze and glitter pens.  Stickles was added to Melinda's wings.

The papers were from My Craft Studio CD Rom and the gold linen card was from my crafting stash.  I mat and layered the backing papers to enhance elements and follow sketch format.

I finished the card with some gem embellishments and added a sentiment to the card.

I quite like the colour combo of pink's even though it's not a particular favourite of mine.

Hope you like, thanks, Sharon

Challenge #112 - Sketch Saturday
http://sketchsaturday.blogspot.com/

For this challenge I used the Sketch Saturday sketch and a Whiff of Joy stamp called "Melinda with Muffin Basket" by Elizabeth Bell.

The backing papers were from "Forever Friends" CD Rom and Crafters Companion.  I matted all the elements onto the black and silver paper.  I embossed a circle and highlighted with stickles just on the one side of the circle.

The image was coloured with copics pens, stickles for the wings and a glaze pen for the icing on the muffins.  The card was then finished with some pearl gems and a sentiment embellishment.

Thanks for looking, Sharon

I'm the same as you

Stamp something Challenge
http://stampchallenges.blogspot.com/

For this challenge I used several scraps of backing papers and made them into an original backing paper.  I mounted my new backing paper of gold mirror card.  The image was a Digi doodle and is called "All Dressed Up 2".

I coloured the image with copics and used a gel pen for the little girl's necklace.  I used stickles on her socks and inked the edges of the deckle edges I had cut with a Nestibilities die.

The card was finished off with brad, pearl, ribbon and flourish embellishments.

Best wishes, Sharon

Challenge #83 Whiff of Joy

For this card I used the sketch design for the above challenge and chose to use "Dancing Willow", one of the stamps designed by Elizabeth Bell.  http://www.whiffofjoy.com/

The image was coloured using copics pens.  I used a black glaze pen for Willow's jewellery and a Silver pen for Willow's handbag.  A blue distress ink was used to create a thin border edge to image.

The backing papers were from Joanna Sheen CD Rom and Crafters Companion.  I used a Martha Stewart punch for the patterned edge.

The card was finished with ribbon, flowers, brad and pearl gems.

Hope to enjoy, thanks, Sharon
