Picking Cherries

Challenge #99 Summer - Everybody Art Challenge

Simon says Challenge Lets get fruity!!
Challenge #111 - Sketch Saturday
Challenge #52 Pollycraft Monday Challenge
Challenge #4 Craftalicious

For today's challenge I chose an image from Sugar Nellies called "Wind swept".  I used gold and red metallic card for matting and layering.  I embossed some of the layers with a cuttlebug.  I used the polka dots and swirl embossing folders.

The main image was coloured with copics and distressed with a gold brilliance ink pad.  A Martha Stewart corner and edge punch was used to cut border edges.  I added some Star Dust Stickles to her apron and finished the card with a sentiment, pearls and gems.

Thanks for looking, Sharon

Challenge #39 - Lilians Sktch
Challenge #3 - Stamp and Create

For this challenge I chose to use a Gorjuss image called "Just a Girl" by Suzanne Woolcott.  The backing papers were from Crafters Companion and Joanna Sheen CD Rom.

The image was coloured with copics and I used two dies to cut the inner and outer frame.  I used another two dies to create the square/diamond shape.  I threaded some blue embroidery thread through the inner edge of the square/diamond shape.  I used a Marianne die for the flourishes and embellish with some small pearls.

To finish to card I added a couple of flowers, brad and feathers.

Best wishes, Sharon
