Lost in Thought

Challenge #27 Sketch and time for Triple play - The Pixie Cottage
Challenge #47 Stamping Sisters in Christ

For this card I chose a Pixie Cottage image called "Hannah At The Pond" by Sandra Hammer.  I used three different backing papers, three corner ribbon embellishments and three flowers as the challenge was to use multiples of three.

The image was coloured with copics and I added a glitter blue pen for light reflection on the water.

I cut an aperture in one of the backing papers which I distressed with a paper distressing tool.

I added extra ribbon to the flowers as I thought it balanced the design.  For the flower embellishments I added a brad and stickles.

Thanks for looking, best wishes, Sharon

Love my Hat

Challenge #6 Bella Studios - distressing
Challenge #32 Sunday sketch and stamp
Challenge  Stamp Something Digital

For the challenge I chose to use a digi stamp from Bella studio called "Dee Dee Hat and Dress".  These are new designs for me and I am loving them.  The sketch is from Sunday sketch.  I must add the card looks nicer is real life the glitter effect doesn't really show up in photo.

The backing papers are from Joanna Sheen, My craft studio CD Roms and QVC.  I distressed the edges of the mats and used a Martha Stewart punch for the loop detail.  I sprayed imaged with varnish after colouring with copics and sprinkled a little gold glitter.  I added some blue heart sequins and some glitter to the holes to one of the layers.  I then finished with adding fabric flowers, brad and pearl bead ribbon.

Thanks for looking,  Best wishes  Sharon
