What's the Matter

Challenge #102 Stampavie-anything goes
Challenge #83 Whiff of Joy-sketch

For this challenge I used a Whiff of Joy stamp called "Musing Melinda" another of Elisabeth Bell's images.

The backing papers were from My Craft Studio CD Rom and Crafters Companion.  I embellished the card with some fabric flowers and added a brad to the centre and some leaves to set the flower off.  The vellum paper was ripped and inked with a gold ink pad.  I used a Nestibilites die to cut the main image and a Cuttlebug folder to emboss the green backing mat.

The image was coloured with copics and gold stickles was added to the wings of Melinda.  I edged the card with a gold ink pad and used a spray varnish over the image.

Thanks for looking, best wishes, Sharon

All In Blue

Challenge #38 Judy's Sketch

For this challenge a used a Gorjuss called "Sitting" by Suzanne Woolcott stamp from Sugar Nellies.  The backing papers were from QVC and Joanna Sheen's CD Roms.

I used embroidery thread to embellish matting and layering, gems and flowers.

The image was cut with a Nestibilities die and backing mat was embossed with a cuttlebug embossing folder.

The image was coloured with copics.  I also used a gold glitter pen for flower in hair and a white pen for highlight on girl's tights.

Hope you like, many thanks, Sharon
