Hugs

Challenge #31 Quixotic
Challenge #15 Teddy Stampers
Challenge #21 Cooking it up with Kate
Challenge #20 Flower Power - Your next stamp...

For this challenge I used an Elizabeth Bell "Bells and Whistles" stamp called "Beary Big Hugs".  I love this image as it reminds me of my niece Olivia who gives hugs the same way.

The backing papers are from "Puppies and Kittens" CD Rom which is full of beautiful papers for all occasions.  I used a Martha Stewart edge punch for the border and Nestilbilities die for the main image and matting.  To complete this challenge I used pearl embellishments on the border matt and finished with some fabric flowers and buttons to bring colours together.

Summer Butterflies

Challenge #26 The Pixie Cottage
Craftalicious Challenge No 3
Beary Sweet Challenge #5
Digi doodles #15
Daring Cardmakers - 7th July
Challenge # 66  StamptacularSunday
The Shabby Tea Room Challenge #17

For this challenge I chose "Hannah with butterfly" stamp from Pixie Cottage.  This is the first time I have used any of the Pixie Cottage stamps and love these cute images of children.  I have got several so will be trying out the other shortly.

The sketch for this challenge is

The backing papers are all from "Puppies and Kittens" CD Rom.  The flourish frame I took off some packing materials and used a Marianna die to cut centre frame for aperture.  I embossed the backing paper with a flower patter to compliment the flowered backing paper.  I then added a flower for embellishment and used some fibres for the centre and a gem.  Finally I added a couple of butterflies and the card was finished.

Summer

Challenge #39 Digital Pencil
Challenge #10 Fresh Brewed
Challenge #120 Cute Card Thursday

Today's challenge is a summer theme so I've chosen to use two digital stamps from Mo Manning's Digital Pencil featuring two children eating ice creams - definitely says Summer to me!

The backing papers are from Joanna Sheen's "Puppies and Kittens" CD Rom and I must say there are loads of really nice usuable backing papers on this CD.  I used a Martha Stewart punch to cut borders to main image which gives the impression of rays of sun light coming out from the image.  The sentiment was cut using a Nestibilities die and finished off with ribbon and flowers from me crafting stash.

Many thanks and best wishes
Sharon
