Too Cute

Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #61 (MMSC61)

For today's challenge I have chosen a Sarah Kay stamp called " Zoe glazing at a butterfly". Sarah Kay is another favourite artist of mine, she specialises in cute children images. I chose pink and blue tones for colour scheme. The backing paper were from Joanna Sheen's Precious Petals CD Rom (Polka dots), Debbie Moore Paper Delights (pink flowers) and the remainder are from Crafters Companion.
The copics I used for this challenge were

E00, E11, E13, E31, E33, E35, E37
G40, G20
BG000, B12, B14, B32
BV00, BV20, BV13, BV23, BV29
V000
R81, R83, R85
RV95, RV34,RV04, RV23,RV93, RV91,RV06, RV000, RV10, RV99, RV00

I have been struggling with my colouring - firstly I had picked up the wrong cardstock and wondered why the result was poor and secondly I hadn't realised my copics needed refilling! Hopefully my problems have been resolved but to correct the skin tone I used a metallic skin tone pencil and paper stump.

To embellish I added some flowers, pearl bead, gems and beaded ribbon. The die cut was another of the Marianne Collection of dies.

Thanks for looking
Best wishes Sharon
