For this project I used a rubber stamp from LOTV - one of this months new releases, I think out of the 9 new stamps this one is my favourite.

I coloured the image with copics and added glamour dust to skirt and tiara.  I used a spica pen to create the border around the image.

The backing papers were from a Forever Friends CD Rom and the black cardstock was from WH Smiths.

I used a Magnolia die to cut the doily flower and added pins, beads and pearls to complete this project.

Hope you like, I am liking monochromatic type cards at the moment and am enjoying using limited colours.

Welcome to my second blog post for DT.  The sponsor this week is the Stitchy Bear and I did it Creations Crafting Boutique and the theme is Winter Animals.

For this challenge I coloured the image with copics and then distressed with a silver brilliance ink pad after die cutting the image with a nestilbilities die.  I then sprayed with clear varnish.  When dry I added stickles to create snow effect.

The papers were from Quitoxic Paperie and Crafters Companion.  The embossed cardstock was some I was given by a DT member.  I used a Marianne die to cut the trees and then added stickles.

I embellished with ribbon, flower (to which I added a snowflake which was cut with a Marianne die) and pearls.

Hope you like, thank you for looking and please pop over and see the other DT samples.

Many thanks, best wishes

For this project I used a digi stamp from One Stop.. and coloured with a couple of grey copics and added some stickles.

The backing papers were some digi papers from My Craft Studio and Create and Craft.

I kept the design quite simple  as I hadn't much time to complete project and used a Nestilibilities die to cut the aperature and a Marianne die for the fir tree branches.  I used cuttlebug folders for the embossing and added a couple of pink pearls to match the backing paper.

Well its Sunday and a new challenge from OSAAT - where has the week gone!  This week's challenge is Celebrate in Style and I have used a Stitchy stamp from the Stitchy Bear and I did it Creations Crafting Boutique.

I coloured image with copics and spica pens.  The backing papers were part of a mixed bag from Create and Craft.

I kepted this quite simple and added a number 1, buttons to enhance the paper image (buttons) creating texture and a bow.

My second entry is a gift box and tag using Floppy Latte papers

For this project I printed 3 papers onto light cardstock.  As it worked out I didnt have to cut the lid A4 cardstock apart from snipping the corners.

I made the box by guess work but lucky for me it was the easiest size to make.  I embossed lines on all four edges approx half an inch then repeated so I had 2 lines.  I then cut the corners diagonally then embossed diagonally to make a fold.

To construct the box I then turned all edges over and creased pushing the fold (corners) in.  I added glue to re-enforce and secured with pens until dry.

I made a tag by matting and layering and then embellished.

Challenge #48 Gift Box

Winner  -Challenge #43

For this project I made a small box.  I used a waterbabies image and coloured with blues and greys to reflect a icy/wintery/christmas feel.

I used a Marianne die to cut the leaves and butterfly.

I added pearl beads, pearls, pins, petaloo flowers and other flowers.  I then used 2 of the stickle glitters to decorate the embellishments and add to the wintery feel I wanted to create.

The backing papers were some black cardstock my husband got me from WHSmiths and the pattern papers were from a Forever Friends CD Rom.

The sketch and theme were both from the Sugar bowl and with the addition of the pearl embellishments the card was finished.

For this project I used one of the Mo Manning digital stamps from Mo's Digital Pencil and coloured with copics.  I added some Stickles to the snowdrops and ground.  I used a fine liner
pen to create the border around the image.  I particularly like doing this to create a frame.

The papers were all from left over projects.  I used a Magnolia doily die for the border and one of the snowflakes and a Marianne die for the other snowflake.

I embellished with more stickles glitter glue to the snowflake and added a ribbon and bow.  Finally added a few pearls.

For this project I used a digital stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil and coloured with copics.  Been struggling this week with health issues so have found it difficult to craft and unsure of the results.

The backing papers were from Quitoxic Paperie and my paper stash.  I used the sketch from Friday sketchers.

I used two of the nestibilities dies for cut a frame for the image and I used a Marianne die to cut the flourishes and poinsettias and embellished with pearls and gems.

For this project I used another of the Sweet pea images I had already coloured with copics and spica pens.

The backing papers were some digital papers from Creative Cottage and the Silver Cardstock was from Create and Craft.

I used a Marianne folder for the embossing on the frame around the image and a Nestilbilities rectangle die.  A Magnolia die was used to create the border, swirl and holly leaves.

I embellished with a peice of ribbon which matched one of the papers and pearls.  I added stickles to the leaves to give it a Christmas feel.

For this project I used a Sweet Pea image I coloured a few days ago but hadn't done anything with it.  I used copics and spica pen my usual favourite medium.

The papers were from Quitoxic Paperie and the silver cardstock was from Create and Craft.

I used a nestilbilities rectangle die to cut an aperature to create a frame for the image.  I then matted onto the silver cardstock.  I used a Martha Stewart doily edge punch for the border and Marianne dies for the butterful and snowflake.

The embellishments were a pearl spray and flat backed pearls.  I used stickles on the image and the snowflakes and butterfly.

Hope you like, thanks for looking.

Best wishes,

Well it's here, Mo Manning's DT call and like everyone else I have my fingers and toes crossed and have asked everyone I know to cross their's for me too.  Here's hoping!

As the challenge states that you can only enter one card I decided to use the image that I most wanted to use today, which as it turns out is "Shall I play for you" one of her newer images.  I don't know why I chose this one in preference to many of her other stamps I love and have - all I can say is I saw it and had to have it!

For this project I used papers from my paper stash (a mixture of accummulated papers) and gold cardstock from Create and Craft.

The image as stated above is "Shall I play for you" and I coloured with copics and spica pens.  I photocopied the coloured image as I decided I wanted to make a mask.  I cut out the photocopy image without damaging the printed copy so that I could use as an apperature.  After placing the apperature page over the image I sprayed with varnish to give just the image a glossy shine.  When image was fully dry I removed protective paper and used a fine liner pen to create the border.

I used the following dies

  • Marianne - Christmas tree, poinsettia and fir branch.
  • Magnolia - doily label

I used embroidery thread and added beads to the Christmas.  The doily label was cut using shrink plastic.  I added the sentiment before shrinking.  Once the shrink plastic was cool I used a gold leaf pen for the edges.

I addedd ribbon, bow, charm, petoo flower and pearls to complete.

Hope you like it, best wishes,
